Nami Tallahassee mental health support groups are FREE, peer-led, and offer participants an opportunity to share their experiences and gain support from other attendees.
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a FREE, peer-led support group for any adult (18+) who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. This recovery and resiliency based support group is ONLY for those who have a mental health condition. A diagnosis is not required.
NAMI Family Support Group is a FREE, peer-led support group for any adult (18+) with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. This experience-based support group is ONLY for those who have a loved one who has a mental health condition.
By sharing your experiences in a safe setting, you can gain hope and develop supportive relationships.
What brings family & friends to Family Support Group?
- Concerns about the behavior of those we love
- Concerns about suicidal thoughts or panic attacks
- Questions about what resources are available
- Concerns about whether or not we appropriately handle various situations involving our loved ones
This experience-based support group is ONLY for individuals who identify as LGBT+.
NAMI Tallahassee LGBT+ Support Group is a safe, non-judgmental space for people in the community to share their experiences and receive support they may not otherwise receive. This group is designed for 18+ LGBT+ peers to share stories, hardships, and experiences and uplift each other.
NAMI Tallahassee’s Young Adult Support Group is a peer-led support group for young adults (ages 18-25). Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. You do not need to have a mental health condition to participate in this group.
