The Mental Health Council of the Big Bend assess the full spectrum of mental health needs in the Big Bend region, identifies areas of concern in our community and recommends strategies for improvement in these areas.

NAMI Tallahassee has a seat on the Mental Health Council (MHC), along with the major local providers of mental health services and many nonprofits, all of whom are focused on policy issues that affect our community. As such, NAMI members have a direct impact as we bring our concerns to the highest level decision-makers.
