NAMI Tallahassee Family Mental Health Class

The NAMI Tallahassee Family-to-Family mental health class is a free, 8-session educational program designed for family, significant others, and friends of people with mental health conditions. It has been designated as an evidence-based best practice by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the umbrella organization for all mental health programs in the U.S. Research shows that participating significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition. This educational program includes presentations, discussions, and interactive exercises led by NAMI-trained family members who have been there, creating an environment that fosters connection and understanding.

What You’ll Gain
